Schreiber does not create “lighting” for performance. Light becomes an essential sculptural and narrative element in collaboration and in solo projects.
His earliest performance works he considers “live construction”. For example, the video above documents 500watts per hour, which was a live endurance piece where Schreiber assembled approximately 500watts of florescent light per hour.
